What does it cost to participate?
AgSpire’s Technical Assistance is free for producers. Expertise from grazing, heard health, soil health, agronomy. The only cost is the time to plan the practice. Per head and per acre payments help cover the cost of adopting the practice.
How does AgSpire offer these practices?
AgSpire can provide technical and financial support through a range of public and private partnerships working with companies that rely on the cattle raised, and crops grown by ranchers and farmers. They’ve choosen to invest for a durable and resilient supply chain, and know that starts at the farm-gate.
What do I have to do when working with AgSpire?
We purposely keep the process as simple as possible – we know farmers and ranchers are busy. It starts by signing a short-term contract with AgSpire, allowing us to learn about your operation and collect some information, meeting with a Technical Advisor (you decide where and when!), and then making the practice change (with as much or as little support a you want).
What if I am enrolled in other regenerative/conservation programs? Can I still work with AgSpire?
Yes! Many of the practices we offer can be paired with things like EQIP, CSP, or program offered through non-profit organizations.
