Role Summary

We are looking for a Producer Advisor to join a fast-paced and growing organization. As Producer Advisor you will be responsible for engaging and recruiting producers to participate in AgSpire’s programs, and the SustainAg Network. This role involves managing relationships with producers, partners, and strategic stakeholders. The Producer Advisor will collaborate with the Technical Assistance (TA) team to implement sustainability programs and drive further engagement with AgSpire. This is a full-time, remote, salaried position, reporting to the Vice President, Producer Programs and Technical Assistance.

The ideal candidate will have proven direct experience collaborating with producers in farming and ranching communities of all sizes, with strong interpersonal skills. We are looking for a self-starter who is excels in an ever-changing, small business environment. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential.

What You Will Do:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for producers, acting as a trusted advisor and providing a high-quality experience throughout their interactions with AgSpire and the SustainAg Network.
• Provide insight and expertise to producers on regenerative practices and advise on sustainability programs that best fit their operations.
• Implement overall approach and strategy for producer recruitment in the responsible geography, meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual company targets.
• Support Technical Advisor with program development and verification tasks.
• Follow up on producer inquiries generated from marketing, tradeshows, and other outreach activities.
• Attend tradeshows and industry events to provide information and enroll producers in the SustainAg Network.
• Ensure all relevant producer information is accurately entered into the SustainAg Network database.
• Work with enrollment specialists to provide ongoing communications to producers on information needed and status of the program.
• Support marketing and provide input on tactical execution.
• Engage with producers to promote sustainability programs and drive further engagement with AgSpire.

What We Are Looking For:

• Customer focused, with a passion for helping ranchers and farmers adopt sustainable agriculture practices.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CRM tools is a plus.

Region: Remote in Eastern North Dakota, or South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma

Travel: This role will require  travel within the United States of America for meetings, conferences, events, and other business-related activities.

Working Conditions:

• Frequent sitting for long durations of time throughout the day is required.
• Occasional lifting and carrying of lightweight equipment during travel may be required (e.g. laptop bag, promotional materials, etc.).
• The ability to use a computer and type/use mouse for extended durations of the day is required.
• The ability to see and read text on a computer screen, as well as visual material for design and marketing purposes is required.
• The ability to hear and participate in remote meeting and discussions via audio conferencing or video calls is required.
• Occasional driving may be required as needed for business purposes.
